对于身份问题，现在我们需要做什么？
-Both of you have no status problem at present. The only thing is to find a new job in the same/similar area as the old one.
如果找到新工作，中间有gap的话，还能用H1B transfer吗？
-Yes. But if the transfer is approved without I-94 card due to the gap, your hu*****and needs to go out of US to get an H1 visa to activate the approved h1 status.
He can also use EAD to work if he wants to.
