Help! filling EAD card renewal late

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to expedite the renewal of EAD card? My application was filled late and is in pending status now. But I might not get it before the expiration date of my current card. Anyway I can get the local office to process my application earlier? Might lose my job if I don't get it on time.
