我整理了下近几个月的EAD处理进度，也无私奉献哈。

本小姐是8/4 E-FIle, 8/5寄补充材料，8/12 收到收据，8/22拍照，打指纹，9/15打电话要求加急，9/16就批准了，
9/20收到卡。

你是说不想renew H1吧? EAD现在可以申请renew了,
但是新的开始日期是你申请的那天起,
所以会浪费这两个月.
我的经验是一个多月办完的,

RD August 16, 2008. Got approval notice (email and
update)on Sept 10, 2008 for me and my son(14 years
old). No call. Paper filed to NSC. Card not received
yet.

NSC, called for expedite processing, approved a
couple days later after I called

I moved after I filed renewal, although I updated new
address on USCIS website, they still mailed the new
card to my old address, luckily, post office forwarded
it to my new address(I heard ususally they don't
forward mails from USCIS, so I guess my case is a
lucky one~)

And it's for 2 years, so that's better than I expected
too~

EAD Apprvoed, RD 7/25/08, Aprrvoed 9/4/08. Local it
is so random. My wife's application sent at the same
time with my file. Her got approval by the end of

production ordered. TSC, 07/14/2008. paper file,my old
EAD will be expired 10/07/2008. (Today is 8/9/08)

I believe I met a nice guy. He asked me to select a
category of reason. I was confused by those
categories, and he repeated all of them at least for
three times. I selected "extreme case" and he also put
my reason "NIH need updated report, I cannot work
without EAD" on the note. He gave me a case-number, I
can call them back using that case number. He didn't
say anything about " don't call it again in 90 days".
Finally I was very appreciated and said " you are
really nice person".

Here is how to expedite renew EAD, the credit should

1800-375-5283,
等输入SRC之后1-1-3-6-1，就可以要求一个expedite
request.

not true, my EAD renew apply in July, get approve in
Aug. with 2 yrs.

I just called CRIS requested expedite processing this
Tuesday. And it is approved 2 days later after I
called.

***So everybody worried about EAD renewal cannot get
approved before old EAD expires, call them and request
expedite processing!

I efiled renewal of ead on 5/08/08, FP on 5/31,
card production ordered on 7/22. I sent supporting
docs immediately after efiling. Did you send
supporting docs? I learned from India websitePeople
that you had better send supporting docs. But many
people say no supporting docs are necessary.
