Thansk for your response. Sorry I didn't make it clear. My H1 will be 6 years by the end of this year. So next year I have to use EAD to work. If I choose to renew my current EAD, I am afraid that the starting date will be still in October. almost 3 months will be wasted. I am not sure if I have to wait till my current EAD (not been used) expires, then I can apply new one.
