Pjiang, XBT: Urgent problem about wrong EAD, Please help

I got a wrong EAD card in late Jun. which says that I can use it as reentry. Today, my current company's attorney asked me to return it and USCIS will issue a new one. What should I do? The problem is that I will start my new job in two weeks using my EAD. Can I just keep it? or I have to return it? I am afraid that the current attorney won't give me the new one after I leave my current company. Please help...
