0)如果我用paper filing来renew我太太的EAD，移民局会给fingerprint通知吗？我们的485和765是去年7月申请的，到目前还没有fingerprint过。
According to my personal experience, your wife may not need biometrics appointment. However, even if USCIS sends a FP notice, it may usually schedule an appointment in more than a couple of weeks. Even if you wife cannot make it, you can always reschedule it notice by sending a request in writing with a copy of your travel documents. The downside is that your wife may not renew the EAD timely and she may not continue to work when she comes back from China.


1）如果返回美国前，移民局把我太太的fingerprint notice寄给我们，赶得上回美国后去fingerprint 吗？ 您知道移民局寄出fingerprnt notice通知日和信上订好的打指纹日间隔多久？

2）我太太EAD renew表的 question 16是该填 (c)(9) 吗？这是她第一次申请renew,我们的485 is pending now.目前她的EAD是去年和485一起申请的。上一次申请EAD时EAD表上这个问题填的是（c)(9).
If employment-based, yes.

3）我现在是h1身份，若用AP回国（这是我来美国后第一次回国），以后是否可以续h1身份？
You may have two options:
1) Apply for H-1B visa in China
2) When you come back on AP, extend your H-1B before AP expires in a year.

4)回国时除了AP与护照外，还需要带什么才能顺利回美国？
To be safe, bring a copy of every immigration application package. If you want to apply for an H-1B visa, you may need to bring whole H-1B application package previously filed and updated employer support letter.
More importantly, let your immigration lawyer know your travel plan.
