I-140 pending, if can use EAD

我的I-140仍然没批，EAD卡今年九月到期， 问过律师，他说今年最好不要RENEW EAD 卡，本人H-1B 6月2009 到期， 不知道律师说的对不对，还是今年我要RENEWEAD卡？

是否EAD卡做废了如果今年我不RENEW EAD卡， 明年我可以重新申请EAD卡还是明年RENEW EAD卡？
