请知道EAD的朋友帮忙---border 的移民官能改动我的H1B身份？

我因为去墨西哥签H1B签证，赶上背景调查，不得已用了AP进境美国，同时border 移民官还要了我的EAD卡，并在电脑上狂敲，但没有告诉我在做什么？我想请大家帮忙--移民官会不会把我的H1B overwritten 成EAD,而造成我H1B身份的失效？我听说只有Employer file 的 EAD 才有效？多谢多谢！！！
