pjiang-Please help! H1B and EAD question

Just got an offer. HR sugguested to do a H1B transfer or a new H1B instead using my valid EAD.

Their reasons are the potentail risk that future EAD renewal may be rejected and there are a lot of work to new a EAD.

Is that true? Do you know what is the particular reason they want to so a H1B? Is there any reasons that USCIS may reject an EAD renewal?
