EAD card error, how to fix it, thanks

Just got my card last Saturday. However, my name was misspelled. How can I fix this? I called the 1800 number and they asked me to resubmit the I765 form and the original card with a copy of my ID to show the correct name. There are three choices on ht e form, apply for permission, repalcement of lost card adn the renewal. 1800 does not give you enough info to help. What should I do for this matter? thanks
