He asks if he can change job during 485 pending to pharmacist like many medical doctors do. It is up to the company. Some companies have policy not accepting non-green card holders, and some accept. As I know most of hospitals also require green card, but not all. A friend of mine becomes a medical doctor during his 485 pending.

It is up to VO to approve GC, not job offer.

I can see your point here, but change job during 485 pending is also common.
