question about EAD. Thx a lot!

I filed EAD to NSC in May (I-485 based) and the RD is May 4th. So far, I haven't heard anything yet. Is there anyone having the similar experience?

Any suggestions on how to speed up the process? I have a pending offer and am afraid to lose it if it takes too long to get the EAD.
