EAD must be renewed

every year if you are J-2. I am curious how did you get one valid uutil 2005 or just renewed one? They are right you can use your old but still valid EAD for the job. When I applied 485 on J-1, my hu*****and still use his old EAD based on J-2 until it expired, then changed to new EAD based on C9 I-485 pending. We both got green card approved now.
