Most employers would not do that. Even if they do, I don't think your GC will be immediately jeopardized if you get a new job in the same line of business. Of course, if that happens you definitely need to retain a lawyer. I'd say for now relax and get a new job quick. -- Do not waste too much time finding the top paid job, just need a job.
