1:若140被拒，老婆何时离境？是立刻离境还是等到工卡年底到期时，还是等到与我H1B六年到期时离境？
Right away

2:若第一份工作被解雇，能否合法呆在家里继续找工作？
Sure she can when 485 pending (140 denial means 485 denia and therefore out of status once EAD used.)

My suggestion: better wait until 140 approved
