About using EAD to work with pending 485

My situation is NIW 140 approved and 485 pending (PD: 09/2005).

There is an opportunity for me to join a leading company (>10K employee and $2.3B revenue) in my field (kind of cold and traditional area). Most likely, I will need to use EAD to work (The work will be in almost exact area I used to apply for NIW). I would like to hear your suggestion of riskes to work using EAD.

Also, my case is at VSC. Could any one tell me where should I file a renew for my EAD?

Need to talk to HR person this afternoon. Waiting for your suggestion.
