Hi, we are at the same boat! The only difference is that, I don't worry about that. First, the chance of I-485 got denied is very small. Secoond, if it happens, we can appeal or re-open the case. Third, if everything fail, we can go back to China to visit our family then apply for H1 to come back. Not bad. We will be able to spend some times with our family if the worst happens.
There is always risk in life that you can't control. But it might be nice to enjoy what you have, instead of worry about what you don't have.
If you choose to be patient and happy while waiting for the green card, the procesess is not that bad. Anyway, our life still goes on, right?
