Xiaobaitu please -- EAD application questions

Dear Xiaobaitu,

I need to renew my EAD (485 pending), and have to get it before January 01, 2007 otherwise I have to go home. I have several questions:

1. Paper application or E-filling, which one is safer and faster?
2. If through mail, should I make an appointment to make the fingerprint? There is no such guide on the form instruction, only mentioned additional $70 is need for fingerprint.
3. If e-filling, do I need to mail the paper document as support?
