I believe the NSC take care of it. I have similar situation as you. I filed my 485 in NSC and I moved to CA last year.
I did renew my EAD by E-file last month, and the receipt was mailed from NSC. And I was asked to take photo and FP in CA.
While My GC got approved this week, and EAD not approve yet.
