EAD, AP

Before we even got our receipt of I140/485 (filed in mid Nov,03 per lawyer) I got my EAD several days ago. Is the AP processed separated or I should expect it in the mail soon? Is there any info from the EAD card that I could use to trace the AP status? I tried it card#, apparently it's for EAD only. thanks
