help with EAD renewal

I485 pending, vermont center. First EAD will expire in 3 weeks and already submitted the second one more than 2 months ago. Receive date is oct.16. I remember H-1 can work as long as he gets BCI receipt for the renewal. Is it also fine with I-485 EAD renewal? Thanks!
