My lawyer said, if you use EAD you don't need apply for H4. I think your status is 485-pending, during this period, you can use your EAD to work without any problems.
Can I ask a question for you?
How can you have both OPT and EAD? Which one you applied first? I will graduate soon, I already have EAD, because my 140 is still pending, I want to apply for OPT to keep my F-1 status. But my lawyer said I can't apply for OPT because my EAD (even I didn't use it). Can I share your situation (both OPT and EAD based on 485)? Thank you so much!
