Urgent help needed for EAD.

EAD applied in Sept. 05, Approved in Nov. 05, VSC

But so far don't receive anything, neither the card nor the approval notice.

Call the customer service today and they tell me:
'You have to re-apply again' (and also pay the fees again)

How ridiculous???

Any guru has same experience??
