I assuem you mean you applied 485 when you were still H1 or F1 by NIW, right? In this case your 485 might be in trouble, because if you NIW has already been approved, your current status without a job indicate sth goes wrong. If your 485 is depend on your spouse's, then it is totally differnt story.

You can certainly apply for EAD, since you already submit 485.
