LC and H1b no relationship

LC is the first step for GC, sponsed by the employer, to show the job is permanant.

even LC approved, you still have to keep your H1b status until you can file your 485 and got it approved.

the second step for GC is 140, then 485 (140/485 can file together if your priority date is earlier than May 2000)

H1b is non-immigration visa,temporary job.
