Is EAD Biometrics same as 48

Is EAD Biometrics same as 485's FP? We did FP for 485 (code 3, also called biometrics) this April. Ijust submitted EAD application and got the notice says"schedule an appointment to do Biometrics".
Anyone who had similar experience, Could pls you share your experience? Thanks a million.
