I am also taking ZOCOR too.

Now I have cut down the dose of Metformin for half, and also measured my blood sugar, the bood sugar is well-controlled.

Since my muscle mass was already cut down, no more muscle was depleted.

I still don't understand. But it seems O.K. now.
