Unlock iPhone 8GB - Where to find code?

I just bought an iPhone 8GB, I want to make it work with my current T-Mobile service. Where can I find free code to unlock the phone? Is the iPhone still able to run all original functions such as Google Map, You Tube if I use it with T-Moble? Please shed your light for me, thanks.
