Plea guilty : lighter sentence like a couple of years plus probation

If not guilty go to a trial:

Trial guilty : sentence by the book, much longer than a few years in their case. The Prosecutor or judges has less power over verdict
Trial not guilty : walk free immediately

Based on what we have seen on Internet, 12 Americans will no doubt find them guilty
