The mother of British businessman Neil Heywood told the Daily Telegraph her son died of a heart attack. Speaking from her home in Streatham, south London, Anne said:

My son died of a heart attack. I don't know why there's all these rumours. But I don't want to say anything else.

Hi sister, Leonie, who lives in Tooting, made a similar comment.

My brother died four months ago. He died of a heart attack. I don't have any comment.
