谢里夫和川普都说中国在达成停火中起了很大作用,具体不详

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has credited China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Qatar with extending "invaluable" support in the effort to achieve a temporary ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran, with Israel also agreeing to cease strikes against the Islamic Republic.

With talks for a fuller truce set to begin as early as Friday, Sharif said in a post on X that he wanted to extend "our deepest and sincere gratitude to our brother countries," including China and others, "for extending invaluable and all out support towards reaching the ceasefire.

He said they had given "peaceful diplomatic efforts a chance to seek a comprehensive and conclusive end to the conflict."

It comes after Trump told the Agence France-Pressenews agency that he believed China had played a pivotal role in persuading Iran to negotiate toward a temporary truce.
