Key Pipelines and Transfer Points to Kharg Island
- Gurreh Booster Station: The final and most critical pumping booster station on the mainland, located approximately 40 km upstream from Ganaveh, which pushes crude oil through subsea pipelines to Kharg.
- Ganaveh Manifold Station: The main gathering point on the coast where onshore crude is collected before being sent through six major subsea pipelines to the island's terminals.
- Agha Jari System: A major trunkline system (42-inch) originating from the Agha Jari oil field, transporting oil through Ganaveh.
- Ahvaz System: A second major pipeline system (42 and 48-inch) connecting from the Ahvaz oil field area to the Ganaveh facility.
- Offshore Fields: Subsea lines also connect directly from offshore fields such as Aboozar, Forouzan, and Dorood to the island’s processing facilities.
