Declines in U.S. travel among Canadians have continued this year. Numbers hit a concerning low in January 2026. For the first time since 1972, Canadian returns from overseas destinations exceeded vehicle returns from the United States. These troubling numbers are expected to persist throughout the year, even in hot spots like Maine, as Canadians look elsewhere for travel
