Oil shock: The International Energy Agency says the world is facing the “largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market” as Iran escalates its attacks on ships and the release of emergency oil stocks failed to calm prices. The US energy secretary said the Navy is not yet ready to escort vessels through the crucial Strait of Hormuz.
