Newsom claims "California leads the nation." Admittedly, he has a point.   

California leads the nation in fraud.
California leads the nation in poverty.
California leads the nation in illiteracy.
California leads the nation in gas prices.
California leads the nation in debt.
California leads in unemployment.
California leads in homelessness.
California leads in electricity rates.
California leads in housing costs.
California leads the nation in U-Haul rentals.
