BYD Vehicle Sales — January 2026

 

  • Total NEVs (new energy vehicles) sold: 210,051 units in January 2026.
    • This represents a ~30.1% decline year-on-year compared with January 2025 and about 50% lower than December 2025.

  • Passenger vehicle sales: 205,518 units — also down significantly year-on-year. 
    • Battery electric vehicles (BEVs): ~83,249 units (down ~33.6% YoY).
    • Plug-in hybrids (PHEVs): ~122,269 units (down ~28.5% YoY).
