China's economy reached a new milestone in 2024, achieving a GDP of 140 trillion yuan, with a per capita GDP of 100,000 yuan!

Compared to the previous year, China's economic output increased by 5%. China's economic growth was substantial, with a relatively reasonable structure. The real economy (agriculture and industry) accounted for 48% of GDP, while the service sector contributed 52%. The ratio of China's real economy to service sector was 0.9231:1.

Interestingly, the US GDP in 2025 reached a staggering 30 trillion US dollars, with a per capita GDP of 85,700 US dollars. Compared to 2024, GDP increased by 2.1%. A closer look at the US economic structure reveals that the real economy contributed 20% of GDP, while the remaining 80% was comprised of the service sector. The ratio of the US real economy to service sector was 1:4.

If we were to compare China's economy to the US, China's GDP in 2025 would be 336 trillion yuan, with a per capita GDP of 240,000 yuan. At an exchange rate of 7.15 yuan to 1 US dollar, China's GDP in 2025 would be 47 trillion US dollars, with a per capita GDP of 33,600 US dollars.

Based on electricity generation, China's GDP is estimated to be 2.5 times that of the United States.

Based on automobile production, China's GDP is estimated to be 2.65 times that of the United States.

If we compare it to China's economic structure, the US GDP in 2025 would be approximately $11.5 trillion, or $33,000 per capita.

This is getting more and more interesting!

So, China doesn't need to care about its so-called dollar-denominated GDP, right?!

Nominally, the US has a high per capita dollar-denominated GDP, but this is far from reflecting the actual living standards of its people! Why is that?
