Markets are relieved U.S. President Donald Trump is stepping back from a threat to increase tariffs on eight European countries for opposing his bid to annex Greenland.
Trump told CNBC on Wednesday that he had the “concept of a deal” with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.
Details of the “deal” are still vague, however, and one strategist told CNBC that Trump’s credibility was being undermined.
