CBS saying the ship was flying a false Guyana flag and Guyana says it's not registered in their country. Law: "Flying a false flag on a tanker is illegal ship registration, a serious maritime fraud, leading to severe penalties like vessel seizure, fines, crew detention, voidedinsurance / classification, and potentially criminal charges for fraud and sanctions evasion, as it undermines maritime law, endangers safety, and facilitates illicit trade."
