initiatives aiming at de-dollarization. USDC/CRCL=a market-based merchanism for extending the USD in the digital era. Our congress has been strongly agaist CBDC (central bank digital currency), which has been issued by Chinese government. The reason is 国会强烈反政府过度监控破坏自由市场。民间数字货币展Eurodollar and SWIFT. The advantages of USDC/CRCL vs. china's government-controlled CBDC are 1) global circulation is higher, 2) felxibility is higher, trust/security is high, 3) international expansion is stronger and 4) political cost is lower. The strategic intent is clear, which is to maintain global dollar supply and counter digital RMB, BRICS digital currency threats. Not an official CBDC, market-driven, but still reinforces USD dominance institutionally.
