"The German spirit, once defined by efficiency and discipline". One clumsy WW war that ruined slavic and balcanic states, one Weimar republic engulfed by fanatics, another WW war stupid and bloody only to give USSR the control of Eastern Europe. Very efficient and disciplined.

 

 

Indeed, Germany *was* 'a hyper-rational, engineer-driven superpower with a strong military.' Now an imploding former power more concerned with destroying its economy and safety, and bankrupting its citizens in the name of political correctness. Sad. Time to turn around.
