马赫：“我一直搞不懂，他们为什么要拿走我这么多钱。”

马赫：“我都记不清上一次缴税低于收入一半是什么时候了……政府确实没收了很多钱。这些钱都去哪儿了？为什么还有无家可归的人？为什么加州至今还没修铁路？为什么？”
马赫终于明白了。我们面临的不是税收问题，而是盗窃问题。

MAHER: “I can’t remember the last yearwhen I didn’t give more than half [myincome intaxes]… The government doesconfiscate a lot of money. Where is itgoing? Why are therestill homeless[people]? And why are there still norailroads built in California? Why?”
Maher finally gets it. We don’t have ataxation problem. We have a theftproblem.
