The state of the economy is the “dominant concern” for voters as they cast their ballots, according to an expansive poll by the Associated Press.
The poll of 17,000 voters in states with key races on the ballot Tuesday found that high prices, inflation and trouble in the job market were guiding their decisions.
The AP’s results are in line with exit polls from other news outlets, which have consistently found that cost-of-living and other economic concerns were top of mind for voters.
