fighting in Aisa? or just that NATO must be able to defend itself without needing immediate US troops?
The Pentagon basically saying: NATO should be strong enough to handle Russia even if the US is too busy with a bigger war elsewhere. But they worded it vaguely enought that 1. Europe feels pressured to build its own power yet 2. the US can still claim its committed to NaTO if needed.
