During the KMT-CCP civil war, the KMT lost power and retreated to Taiwan. Never forget the people of mainland China, it vowed to counterattack the mainland. This failed, and the KMT was defeated by the Democratic Progressive Party and lost power again. The Democratic Progressive Party is promoting Taiwan independence, making the Taiwan Strait like a powder keg.

The mainland is conservative, a sovereign territory. Taiwan is democratic, and its people suffer. The mainland is vast, solid as such a large rock house. Taiwanese people live a tiring life, paying countless taxes for freedom and happiness. Mainland Chinese people are happy, living a blissful life. Taiwan is proud, and democracy and freedom are consumed.

The strait between the mainland and Taiwan is not wide. In 2035, a high-speed rail will connect the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
