administration essentially used Blinken’s ceasefire framework. Most likely, Hamas had agreed to the deal back then, but Israel did not, which is why the war continued until yesterday. The turning point came when Israel finally accepted the peace agreement, largely due to its unnecessary crisis of the attack on Qatar.
In any case, I don’t believe a ceasefire deal can ever be achieved without opportunity and must come through a gradual process. I agree with Hillary Clinton that the incredible success and achievement of ending the war should indeed be credited to the Trump administration.
I’m also glad to see that both parties continue to uphold the same core American values and foreign policy principles, something so important and critical to our nation.
