Leonidas uses pulsed microwaves — extremely short bursts of radio-frequency (RF) energy.

  • Power: hundreds of megawatts peak (very high, but only for microseconds).

  • Frequency: not publicly disclosed; likely in the GHz range (similar to radar, but orders of magnitude stronger).

 

 

  • The pulse couples into drone antennas, wiring, and circuits.

  • Creates voltage surges far beyond design limits.
