The FN-6 (FeiNu-6) is a Chinese third-generation MANPADS designed by China National Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation (CNPMIEC). It’s one of the most modern portable air-defense systems used by several countries, including reports suggesting Cambodia has some FN-6 units through Chinese military aid.

Cambodia & FN-6
-
Cambodia reportedly received a small number of FN-6 units via Chinese military assistance in recent years (unconfirmed estimates: dozens of launchers).

Deployment likely focuses on border defense and key installations.
-
Cambodia does not have integrated radar-based SAM systems, so FN-6 is its most modern air-defense weapon.
