France has opted to donate Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukrai

France plans to transfer a portion of its Mirage 2000-5s to Ukraine as part of its military aid efforts. The first batch of these aircraft arrived in Ukraine in February 2025. Ukrainian pilots trained in France are flying the jets. 

The exact number of Mirage 2000s being transferred is not publicly confirmed for security reasons, although some reports indicate a plan to send six of France's Mirage 2000-5 planes. These jets are being upgraded with enhanced air-to-ground capabilities and improved electronic warfare systems.
