Harvard doesn’t have a good leg to stand on in the court

Harvard doesn’t have a good leg to stand on. While the focus has been about antisemitism, racial discrimination and other culture war issues as reasons for stripping their tax exempt status, other lesser known problems that are just as death-dealing to Harvard’s survival is its transparency surrounding foreign dealings that

a) violate sanctions and b) raise national security concerns

You will recall that we broke the news about Harvard hosting and training a sanctioned Chinese paramilitary group linked to the CCP.

The House Select Committee on the CCP has now opened an investigation into this, and for using Dept of Defense funding to partner with China-based scholars with ties to the Peoples’ Liberation Army, among other infractions.

Like other institutions or higher learning, Harvard receives tax-exempt status and research funding from tax payers due to their educational mission of teaching, research and public service.

Not service to the CCP. Not service to Chinese universities who benefit from the IP from research collaborations. Certainly not service to the Chinese international students who function as espionage plants and subvert open and free debate on campus.

Harvard is supposed to serve the American public. Not take public funds to serve the Chinese or the Iranians.

They have until June 2nd to respond to the @committeeonccp
